Megabricks, an internationally active brick and building block retailer, sells through the Brickowl marketplace and uses Easybill for invoicing. Between the two systems, there was no existing integration – every order had to be manually read and typed in.

The Solution

We developed an automated middleware built on Laravel that connects Brickowl and Easybill through their REST APIs. The solution runs entirely in the background – no user interface, no manual intervention required.

How the Data Pipeline Works

Fetch Orders

The pipeline regularly queries the Brickowl API and automatically retrieves new orders – including customer data, items, quantities, and prices.

Validate & Transform Data

The Laravel app validates order data and transforms it into the Easybill format. VAT, margin taxation, and country-specific regulations are handled automatically.

Generate Invoices

Via the Easybill API, customers are created, invoices generated, and prepared for dispatch – all without a single click.

Monitoring & Alerting

Bugsnag monitors the entire pipeline. The team is notified immediately in case of errors, invalid data, or API outages.
